I need to create an online site to showcase my work for potential clients and employees.
I have a bit of a variety of work I’d like to show off and am a little unsure of how I want to categorize it. My website needs to match my actual portfolio DVD and transitions. Well I’ve actually been reading a lot of comic books lately and decided to go with that type of look. I’m not exactly sure how I want everything to be laid out but I’ve got some great ideas running around my head. I just need to thumbnail them out to see what works for what. I’m pretty close to figuring out my color scheme. I found this awesome site for choosing colors for design. http://www.colorsontheweb.com/ I suggest checking out the color wizard and the color wheel! That color wheel is awesome! I could play with that all day and find so many colors I never would have thought to go together! Well, I will update more as my idea grows!
Seems like your creative process is off and running. I think having your site follow the comic book style could be very interesting and different. The site colors on the web is just about the coolest thing i have ever seen! Sometimes I run into a serious color block, and this could help so much.
